Here’s how you get to our wellness hotel
Many roads lead to Villach! The Thermenhotel Karawankenhof is located directly next to the KärntenTherme thermal spa, not far from the Villach-Warmbad train station. Here is how you can reach our hotel using the various means of transportation.

By car
Vienna-Graz-Klagenfurt-Villach (A2): exit Warmbad/Villach
Munich-Salzburg-Villach (A10), continue towards Italy (A2): exit Warmbad/Villach
From Italy: Autostrada (A23) and continue on the A2 until you reach Warmbad/Villach
From Slovenia: over the Wurzen Pass, continue on the main road in the direction of Warmbad/Villach
or via the Karawanks tunnel (E61), via the Villach junction in the direction of Faaker See (A2), and to the Warmbad/Villach exit
Please note that vignettes are required on Austria’s motorways and highways.
Charging e-cars
For electric cars we offer 8 type 2 charging points with up to 22kW power in the hotel car park. Payment is easy and requires no registration - by debit/credit card or by mobile phone. The price is 39 cents per kWh. From the 13th hour a blocking fee of 1€/h will be charged.

- Hold your debit or credit card/mobile phone up to the contactless payment terminal. 40€ will be pre-reserved.

- Unplug and re-park at the end of the charge process

By train
As a railway junction, Villach is easily accessible by train.
Our hotel can be reached directly via Graz, Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Italy, and Slovenia (get out at Villach main station). Continue with the city train (S2) via Westbahnhof Villach to Warmbad/Villach (2 stops).
The route Villach main station – Warmbad-Villach can be reached by S-Bahn (city train) and runs at regular intervals. The hotel is a few minutes by foot from the Warmbad-Villach train station.
If you need a rail station shuttle, you can conveniently book it by phone or online until 08:00 p.m. of the day before here.
